JON'S PASSION

Growing up in Manchester, Jon's childhood was filled with exciting adventures (with a smattering of danger) and fun! Beliefs that he continues to live by in his adult life and that he encourages with his own children now!

He believes in winning, and any loss is another opportunity to learn and grow. This is the mindset that has got him to this point today, starting Sauce Health with his great friend and business partner, Martin! He has the energy and commitment required to change the landscape in patient health communications.

Jon believes we can always do more for the end user, from education and awareness, enabling consumers to be more empowered with health knowledge to patient support through PSP’s and adherence initiatives. Having experienced everything from small agencies all the way to up to the biggest networks, Jon has always ensured the patient is top of mind and the work ultimately changes lives for the better

Jon has over 20 years of healthcare communications experience from a wide range of communication specialties and disciplines. He has been directly involved in multiple launches and brand refreshes, across a range of therapies, from rare diseases to OTC brands. Most recently he managed a large London based creative agency specialising in HCP and Patient omni-channel brand marketing with creativity at its core

 

Jon attained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry from Lancaster University (UK) and went on to obtain his postgraduate diploma in Business Analysis. This means you are in safe hands regarding scientific rigour, commercial expertise and value

Jon held several roles in market research covering qualitative and quantitative techniques, which provided a unique foundation into insight gathering, strategic planning and analytics

MARTIN'S PASSION

Martin loves new experiences, whether it's training to hang glide, painting in a new medium, or learning about rare diseases. He set up a theatre company after leaving university so he could find out more about performing and directing. He trained in audio visual communications, including branding, graphics, animation, film and radio.

 

His heart craves the challenge of solving problems, coming up with new ideas and creating things, so any kind of creativity is exciting. Martin's a natural leader but is very hands-on with his projects, enjoying team work and partnerships.

Martin has always been passionate about great communication, especially when it can make a huge positive impact on lives of people in need. Developing and adapting creative solutions that change the way people feel, think and behave has been central to Martin's success. He's hands-on, working closely with patients, healthcare professionals and clients to understand their needs to create lasting solutions. 

Martin has over 20 years of healthcare experience, including patient support and adherence, public and patient awareness, HCP education, every stage of promotional brand launch (pre, peri, post, maintenance and LOE), events, training etc. Martin is used to managing every scale of project and appoints the right team for the task in hand. He's fully conversant managing Creative Copy, Editorial, Science, Art, Design, UX/UI and Film production, allowing him to bring every aspect to the account where necessary. 

 

Martin attained a BA (Hons) in Audio Visual Design from Staffordshire University and spent 15 years managing small and large agency creative teams for Local, European and Global accounts. 

Martin has spent over 10 years working closely with brand strategists, engagement strategy teams, and behavioural change specialists, and brings his creative strategy experience to every project.
